TraineryCORE is TraineryHCM's core HR module, the centralized system of record for all employee data. It stores personal details, employment history, job information, documents, and organizational reporting data. Unlike a standalone HRIS, TraineryCORE shares its employee record natively with all three other TraineryHCM pillars, including Performance, Trainery Learn, and CompBldr, eliminating data sync delays and integration errors.
TraineryCORE covers the core employee data functions of an HRIS: employee profiles, job history, document storage, organizational charts, and HR reporting. It is not a payroll system. Organizations using TraineryCORE typically maintain a separate payroll provider (ADP, Gusto) which connects via TraineryHCM's native integration. For companies that need a lightweight HRIS combined with full-suite HCM, TraineryCORE provides the right balance.
TraineryCORE manages: (1) employee personal details (name, contact, emergency info), (2) employment information (start date, role, department, location, employment type), (3) job history and internal moves, (4) HR documents (offer letters, contracts, certifications), (5) organizational hierarchy and reporting lines, and (6) HR analytics and workforce reporting. All data updates in TraineryCORE flow automatically to the connected Performance, Learning, and Compensation modules.
TraineryCORE provides the shared employee record that all four TraineryHCM pillars read from. When an employee changes roles, TraineryCORE updates their job information, which automatically updates their review cycle assignments in Performance, their learning paths in Trainery Learn, and their pay band positioning in CompBldr. There is no manual sync required between modules because they all operate on the same underlying employee record.
